Description:
Set in the excess of the late 1970s we follow the world as it has evolved with the zombie threat, a disaster they thought they had under control. When the city is locked down with quarantine, a group of survivors finds out the hard way that even with the undead, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. And in this case it means a female punk rock zombie fetishist has to grow up in a hurry when her hedonistic boyfriend is bitten by a real ghoul. No more fun and games - it's time for a horror tale that rips you out of the safe zone with a fast paced violent survival story.

George Carlson: Jingle Jangle Comics. 39 issues (Eastern Color)
ingle Jangle Comics was a ten-cent, bimonthly, 42-issue, 68-page (later reduced to 52-page) childrenΓÇÖs-oriented American comic book published by Eastern Color under the Famous Funnies, Inc. imprint between February 1942 and December 1949. The series featured mixes of human and funny animal material. The series was edited by Steven Douglas with George L. Carlson as principal artist.
George L. Carlson was in his mid-fifties and a veteran childrenΓÇÖs book illustrator and puzzle maker when he took on Jingle Jangle Comics. His experience included painting the first edition dust jacket for Margaret Mitchell's Gone with the Wind and ghosting the newspaper strip RegΓÇÖlar Fellas for artist Gene Byrnes. He had previously published Jingle Jangle Tales as a childrenΓÇÖs book and an unsuccessful Sunday newspaper page. Each issue of the comic book contained at least one of his two features (and many contained both): "Jingle Jangle Tales" and "The Pie-Face Prince". Carlson completed every aspect of his features himself ΓÇô pencils, inks, etc. ΓÇô earning $25 per page for the twelve pages he produced for each issue.
CarlsonΓÇÖs sophisticated Jingle Jangle fairy tales mixed burlesque, fantasy, and wordplay with his own brand of nonsense in multi-layered features of visual and verbal harmony. Characters in his work included The Youthful Yodeler, the Half-Champion Archer, the Very Horseless Jockey, King Hokum of Pretzleburg and his son the pie-face Prince Dimwitri, the Princess Panetella Murphy (DimwitriΓÇÿs love), the Raging Raja (DimwitriΓÇÖs favorite enemy), and the Wicked Green Witch. DimwitriΓÇÖs adventures were many and varied: in one tale, he went aloft in an 18-carat balloon in search of a missing bass drum and in another he searched for the Doopsniggle Prize with his corned-beef flavored cabbage plant.

Sam Glanzman: Kona, Monarch of Monster Isle # 1-21 (Dell Comics)
All issues of Kona, Monarch of Monster Isle published by Dell Comics 1962-1964
Sam J. Glanzman (born December 5, 1924)[1][2] is an American comic-book artist, best known for his Charlton Comics series Hercules, about the mythological Greek demigod; his biographical war stories about his service aboard the U.S.S. Stevens for DC Comics and Marvel Comics; and the Charlton Comics Fightin' Army feature "The Lonely War of Willy Schultz", a Vietnam-era serial about a German-American U.S. Army captain during World War II.
Kona, Monarch of Monster Isle is a fictional American comic book character who was featured in his own self titled series, published by Dell Comics in the 1960s.
The character was created during a period of transition for Dell Comics. Up until 1962 Dell had been the official comic book publisher for Western Publishing, the licencer for Walt Disney, Hanna-Barbera and Warner Bros. among others. This relationship ended when Western made the decision to start its own comic book publishing company, Gold Key Comics.
Faced with the prospect of losing the rights to all of the series they were publishing, Dell began a large scale campaign in which numerous series and characters were created. This was designed to allow Dell to survive as a company past the point of Gold Key's creation. Of the characters created during this period, Kona was one of Dell's most successful creations.

Boody Rogers: Sparky Watts # 1-10 (Columbia)
All issues of the Sparky Watts solo book, created by Boody Rogers and published by Columbia Comics. Ca. 1942.
"Gordon G. Rogers (1904ΓÇô1996), better known as Boody Rogers, was an American comic strip and comic book cartoonist who created the superhero parody Sparky Watts.
In the late 1920s and through the 1930s, Rogers illustrated newspaper strips for such syndicates as the Newspaper Feature Service, the Chicago Tribune New York News Syndicate.[2] Rogers was Zack Mosley's assistant on The Adventures of Smilin' Jack when he sold his own strip, Sparky Watts, to the Frank Jay Markey Syndicate, which distributed such strips as Ed Wheelan's Big Top and Rube Goldberg's Lala Palooza. Sparky Watts debuted Monday, April 29, 1940 in some 40 newspapers. The strip ended when Rogers was drafted. During World War II he gave chalk talks to servicemen. His WWII experiences are detailed in his autobiography, Homeless Bound (1984).
During the 1930s, Rogers illustrated cowboy comics for Dell Comics and DC Comics. Because Markey was part owner of the Columbia Comics Group (Skyman, The Face), reprints of Sparky Watts turned up in Columbia's Big Shot Comics, which featured other strips distributed by either Markey or the McNaught Syndicate (which distributed Mickey Finn and Toonerville Folks). Sparky Watts began in Big Shot #14 (June, 1941), and the character starred in four issues of his own comic for Columbia, beginning November, 1942.[3]
Back from WWII, Rogers returned to syndication in 1946 with McNaught, and he drew new six-page stories for Big Shot, plus in 1947, he created another six issues for Sparky's own title. Rogers also illustrated Babe and Dudley for Quality Comics' Feature Comics.[2][4]
Rogers retired from comics in 1952 and began operating a pair of art supply stores in Arizona."

Dean Motter + Michael Lark: Batman - Nine Lives (DC)
Written by Dean Motter
Art by Michael Lark
Paperback: 126 pages
Publisher: DC Comics (2003)
Language: English
Nine Lives differs from the normal Batman canon because it is set in the 1940s at a time when Gotham City is rife with organized crime. Rather than being a superhero story, it more closely resembles a detective comic book from the same era, before the idea of superheroes had been introduced. Though Batman still exists, members of his rogues gallery appear as normal criminals rather than mutated, disfigured or technologically enhanced characters, a similar approach to that of Christopher Nolan's Batman film series. Part of the story's appeal is its clever use of creating more human identities for supervillains such as Joker, Penguin, and Two-Face.
The story begins with noirish narration, following the Batman down a sewer in search of a crocodile. Upon finding and wrestling the animal he is hit on the head by a mysterious assailant. When he awakens, he is lying next to the body of Selina Kyle (Catwoman in the normal canon).
Once the body is discovered, Private Detective Dick Grayson (Robin) is accused by Commissioner Gordon of having something to do with the murder. As the story progresses we find out that Selina Kyle earned the nickname of Catwoman because she owned the Kit Kat Club (a place of ill repute). She used her sexual allure to keep the club from going under financially, but she later resorted to blackmail, because she knew the secrets of many of Gotham's most wanted criminals.

Collection of short stories by Maruo. It's almost impossible to summarize them, most of them aren't really plot driven but they deal with abnormal states of the mind and are permeated by a general surrealism. As in many of this works, he shows references to the art and culture of 1920s and 1930s Japan and Germany which had inspired his own artistic style.

Description:
1968. The height of the Vietnam War. Two young men from opposite ends of the earth must drag themselves through Hell for the opportunity to kill one another. Written by rookie sensation Jason Aaron with astoundingly visceral art by Cameron Stewart (SEAGUY, SEVEN SOLDIERS: GUARDIAN), THE OTHER SIDE is a 5-issue miniseries following Bill Everette, a 19-year-old Alabama farm boy drafted into the Marine Corps whose only goal is to come home alive, and Vo Binh Dai, a 19-year-old Vietnamese farm boy who enlists in the People's Army of Vietnam, terrified only of failing in his duty to die bravely for his country. Along the way, Private Everette encounters demonically vicious Parris Island drill instructors, talking maggots, voiceless ghosts, jaded grunts, man-eating pigs, maniacal rats, leeches that quote William Blake, a rifle that begs him to shoot himself and occasionally even the enemy. Vo Dai must undertake the long march south down the Strategic Trail, through black forests and bloody swamps, over pockmarked earth and fields of fire, past tigers and dragons and mounds of the dead, past exhaustion, beyond endurance.
