11 issues published Comic Media 1953-1954 3 issues published by Charlton 1955 With sweet artwork by Don Heck and Pete Morisi Originally bearing the tagline "Men Without Fear" for the first five issues, the stories were generally of the adventure genre but with the sixth issue the tagline changed to "Secret Agents...Spies/Espionage...Intrigue" and the book took on a spy theme, now featuring a recurring character, Duke Douglas. However, after the eleventh issue the series ended with a short resurrection at Charlton a year later for three issues that kept the spy tagline but dropped featuring Duke Douglas on the cover. By the final issue, it was mainly just reprinting earlier stories featured in the comic

Fantastic Four Visionaries - John Byrne Vol. 7

The only reason I am uploading this is because it's near impossible to find on the net. I must have scoured the net and everyΓÇôlink for 2 hours and came up with nothing. It pissed me off, I think if all the other volumes are available (which when I made this torrent they were) then people who love John Byrne like me should not have to become as frustrated about the missing vol. 7. There are 9 Volumes total, 1ΓÇô8 including 0. Anyway, the only "other way" to get it was to pay for a premium membership to rapidgator. Yeah right. I was just about to give up in 3-4 minutes and then I found it on some obscure spanish website. This is in english. I'm lucky I have all 8 Volumes now. John Byrne is the boss. And by the way don't even bother trying to find a rapidgator premium link generator, they are all fake and owned by some hollow eyed pakistani indian loser computer geeks who seems to love having you sit through ads and fill out forms to , well, to get back to nothing. Keep it real guys. Keep it real.

Barry Windsor-Smith: Adastra in Africa (Fantagraphics)

Barry Windsor-Smith originally conceptualized this self-contained adventure as the third "Lifedeath" story for Marvel Comics' Uncanny X-Men. The book was shelved for several years when Marvel claimed that Windsor-Smith's ending condoned and/or promoted suicide, an assertion that Windsor-Smith says is as laughable as it is unfounded. He refused to acquiesce to the editor's demands to change the story and pulled the book from them. He liked it so much, however, that he decided to rework it as an Adastra story shortly after undertaking the BWS: Storyteller series a few years ago. Now, more than a decade after it was begun, it is finally in print. Adastra in Africa spotlights the young, exiled goddess traveling to an African village and striving to bring salvation to the famine-stricken area. It's a compelling tale of an outsider attempting to use her own non-traditional methods to help a defiantly proud people regain its vitality, without compromising the tribe's heritage and values. This stand-alone graphic novel features some of the most beautifully intricate and graceful drawing of Windsor-Smith's legendary career. 56 pages Published by Fantagraphics 1999

The REAL 'Before Watchmen' Ozymandias! In 1956, Pete Morisi fulfilled a childhood dream of joining the police force, and became an NYPD cop stationed in Brooklyn and in lower Manhattan. To avoid the department knowing he was moonlighting, however legally, Morisi began signing his work only with his initials ΓÇö PAM, the "M" rendered without connectors, as "|||". He retired from the force in 1976. Morisi's character Thunderbolt debuted in Peter Cannon ... Thunderbolt #1 (Jan. 1966), part of Charlton editor Dick Giordano's "Action Heroes" superhero line. The series then took over the numbering of the defunct title Son of Vulcan, and ran from issue #50-60 (MarchΓÇôApril 1966 - Nov. 1967), by which time Morisi, time-pressed with police work, had turned it over to other hands. When DC Comics bought the rights to Charlton's superhero properties in 1983, Thunderbolt was one of the characters originally planned for use in writer Alan Moore's miniseries Watchmen; when DC chose to save those characters for other uses, Moore adapted him into Ozymandias (Adrian Veidt) 11 issues published by Charlton 1966-1967
